| As I gazed at my tiny daughter, I knew I had to capture all that is a baby. The chubby cheeks, the curves of her profile, fingers with dimples in them. I knew the baby look would be gone in a blink of an eye. So I did what I do best. I took pictures ... Lots of pictures. No fancy equipment or backgrounds, no props or fancy clothes. Just a camera, white backdrop, and the two of us. Now I use the same idea in many of our portrait sittings. Indoors or out, environmental or with studio backgrounds, our focus is on the people. Portraits capture a moment in time and a piece of life as it was for that person at that moment. And as time passes, these images become even more special. |
